Bachelor’s Final Recital
Tuesday, 20 May 2025, 10:30
Manuel de Falla Auditorium, Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid
Madrid, Spain

This final Bachelor recital marked the culmination of my undergraduate studies in Classical Saxophone at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid, completed with the highest distinction. The program was conceived as a dialogue between tradition and contemporary musical language, reflecting both my academic path and my artistic interests.
The recital brought together works by Edison Denisov, Alberto Posadas, José María Sánchez-Verdú, and César Franck, offering a broad aesthetic spectrum—from the structural clarity and expressive legacy of the classical canon to the timbral, spatial, and conceptual explorations of contemporary composition. Special emphasis was placed on the interpretation of recent and complex repertoire, including works by Sánchez-Verdú, whose music formed the core of my Bachelor’s thesis and research.
Through this program, I aimed to demonstrate not only technical command of the instrument, but also an evolving artistic identity rooted in stylistic awareness, critical listening, and an openness to new musical languages.
