Granada Sax Event 2025

Granada Sax Event 2025 was an international saxophone meeting held at the Royal Conservatory of Music “Victoria Eugenia” of Granada, bringing together students and professors from several European institutions. The participating schools included the Royal Conservatory of Music “Victoria Eugenia” of Granada, the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, isdaT – Institut supérieur des arts et du design de Toulouse, and the Conservatoire Royal de Liège.

Within this framework, I participated as part of a saxophone quartet together with Silvia Macejová (soprano saxophone), Ivona Dominik (alto saxophone), and Miguel Bargiela Souto (tenor saxophone). The ensemble presented chamber repertoire during the concerts organized as part of the event.

The program also included masterclasses and workshops with invited saxophonists such as Javier Linares, Francisco Rusillo, Juan Pedro Luna, Thomas Barthelemy, and Koryun Asatryan.
